Filter Photos by Export Status in Lightroom Classic

It’s nearly Thanksgiving and I know your week is jam packed like mine is so I’m going to make this one short and simple for ya.⚡️

Your Weekly Photo Editing Tip with Erika Swafford

Did you know that you can filter your photos by export status in Lightroom Classic? It was a sneaky little feature that Adobe put in the May update for Lightroom Classic. You can find it in these two places:

Filmstrip Filter

Go to the filter in the filmstrip. It's to the right of the flags.

Filmstrip filter to find export filter.

(If you don’t see the filmstrip filter, click on the word “filter” to open it up.

Library Filter

Go to the Library Grid. At the top where the Library Filter is click on Attribute. Look for "Export" and the two rectangle icons to the right of it.

(If you don’t see your library filter, tap the \ key on your keyboard to bring it up.)

The first export icon with the arrow shooting out of the rectangle will filter by exported images. The second export icon will filter by images that haven’t been exported.

I’m curious, have you been using this filter?

Alrighty, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and time with your family!

Happy editing,

Erika
