The Easy Way to Create Virtual Copies in Lightroom Classic

Aaaaaand we’re back! Man, the last two weeks really messed up my sense of time, space and what day it was. 🙃

Anyway, happy new year!! 🥳

For Christmas I met up with family I hadn’t seen in a while. It was nice to catch up! And for New Year's I had some much needed alone time with my hubby. All in all, a nice break from the hustle of busy season.

While you’re getting back into the swing of things, here’s the first photo editing tip of 2025…

Since we’re just getting back from the holidays I’m going to keep this tip easy peasy for ya. Do you create virtual copies of photos in Lightroom? This one is for you!

All you need to do is have the image you want to copy selected. Then hit command and the ‘ key on your keyboard.

What’d I tell ya—easy, right? Go try it out in Lightroom.
