SIMPLE SHORTCUTS & SECRETS
Photo Editing Made Easy
For busy wedding & portrait photographers so you can close that laptop sooner.
Hey, hey!
I have been working on my new workshop, Shoot to Edit Less, so hard this past week! 😅
I really wanted to get it out in January but the creative process required more time. I am hopeful it will be out in February though. 🤞
I’m SO excited about this week’s editing tip so let’s dive in…
Oh my goodness! I just found this hidden shortcut menu in Lightroom that will make removing or healing things in your photos even easier.
Step 1
Go to the Develop module.
Step 2
Type “Q” on your keyboard to open the Remove Tool. Or you can click on the eraser just above the Basics panel.
Step 3
In the top right corner of the Remove Tool is a tiny question mark with a circle around it. Click on that!
Whoa! I was NOT expecting that when I got curious about that little question mark. I was expecting a little tiny thing that explained what the remove tool did or something like that.
Oh man, what an exciting surprise!
Some of these shortcuts I am familiar with and have shared in the past. But I’m going to start using the shortcut to cycle through the Remove Modes and the shortcut to toggle between the three variations for the AI healing tool.
What do you see that you’ll start using?
Happy editing,
Erika
